Body Line Pilates
Body Line Pilates is an expression of structurally appropriate, anatomically correct movement which leads to functionality and flexibility, economy and efficiency. It has as its prerequisite a clearly structured physical training which serves as a foundation for all other training systems. This training concept makes it possible to become centered by means of a physio-economic placement and positioning of the body, in order to develop a technique which enables the greatest possible freedom to move the body in a smooth, polished, and above all healthy manner. In doing so, Pilates promotes health sustainably, well into old age, protecting from accidental injury.
This concept of training the body is a holistic method which strengthens both body and mind, and follows the natural laws of the body. Once learned and consciously applied, it can be integrated into everyday life, which can then be mastered effortlessly and flawlessly. That’s why Pilates is so valuable and indispensible for me, and the reason why I want to share it with as many people as possible.
Practicing Pilates means:
- Improving physical fitness and mental relaxation.
- Gentle, effective physical exercises that mainly strengthen the core musculature – abdomen, back, and buttocks – while increasing flexibility from head to foot.
- Achieving functional, healthy, and safe motion through good posture.
- Re-learning correct patterns of movement in order to prevent overuse or compensatory motions.
- Restoration of balance in every sense of the word, resulting in effective motion and a general sense of well-being.
- More effective muscle activity and a reduction of spinal strain through strengthening of the core.
- Building up energy reserves for sports, leisure, and times of crisis.
- Preventing injury and reducing pain which is often caused by false posture.
- Achieving fitness goals and improving work performance.
Pilates is not tied to age, character, or gender. The Pilates method is adjusted for every individual and their personal needs at Body Line – whether for fitness or physical therapy. Pilates is applicable in the areas of professional and competitive sports, all kinds of athletics, physical therapy, pregnancy, and seniors. By integrating the principles of the Pilates method in your subconscious, your joy in movement will be complemented by the efficiency of a highly attractive fitness program.
